This is the big leagues.

Luckily we ran into Noah and Mason as soon as we got there so it settled my nerves (Michael was fine).

The parents stay the first day so the kids can get acquainted with the new classroom. Luckily Mike could come because Colin was in rare form and had to exit the room.
The following photos are compliments of my photog husband.

The kids met on the rug to introduce themselves and listen to a story.

Michael got to go first.

So far so good. Then it was time for a self portrait. Michael decided that he should be depicted as a Bee Boy. Complete with a stinger in a place that could be considered controversial.

Let's just say the teacher was quick to offer another piece of paper for a redo.

I think it is going to be a good year.

*Note to Jessie and Becky- I think we should take one of these in the same spot every year.
Good luck boys! I know you will be great.

I have butterflies for you, for him. Got that? Wow! So exciting! Love the uniform. I was a uniform gal, too. Crazy. That last one is so darling!

Such a grown up - I love the converse:-)
How many years will they let us take their picture? Pretty sure Noah is going to be that kid that makes me drop him off a block away.
Oh man. I totally recognize that green tile. Fun times
Love this - it's a big deal to go to the BIG school. Also, the last picture reminds me of those photos that they show their kids and grandkids of their best friends growing up.
Michael's "kicks" are flossing yo!!
