A.K.A.
Chelan 2011.
We walked to Starbucks every morning, fed the ducks, went to the park, swam, skipped rocks, ate, drank, laughed and soaked up every last minute of our annual Chelan trip.
Every year Michael is becoming braver and braver in the water.
He is still however refusing to take swimming lessons.
The weather was cooler than in the past, but we still had 4 sunny days of 80 degree weather (minus a few hours of rain one morning).
All of Michael's swimming just earned him his second bout of swimmer's ear this season.
We visited a new (to us) winery.
Vin Du Lac.
The wine was good, the food was "so so" but the grounds were perfect for two kids to run/crawl around.
We fed the ducks every morning.
Even Colin (on my back) got into it.
When we came up to these geese, Michael let us know that they are just "Common Geese"
We headed back to one of our favorite winery's, Tsillan Cellars.
Michael loves their coy pond.
Colin loves their grass.
This one (Colin not my mom) finally warmed up to the pool on our last day.
Our last meal was at our favorite spot, Wapato Point Cellars.
The wine, food and atmosphere is great.
Its what they call a Triple Threat in the biz.
One of my favorite moments from the trip was when Michael and Colin were coloring on our hotel room floor. Colin kept on taking all of the crayons and without missing a beat Michael groaned and yelled, "Jesus, I can't take this anymore!"
Wonder where he got that line?
It's been real Chelan.
Peace out until next year.

What's not to love about this post?great pics. Good laughs. And Sara in a picture! You look so cute! Not that you don't normally. You must have seen our swimming lesson pictures and thought, "gosh. If Katie will post those pictures of herself I've got nothing to loose!" :)
Oh geeze, thanks! I thought you looked great in those swim lesson pics BTW.
