Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

DSC_6660

I had a sweet tooth after dinner last night so I scoured the pantry for something to make.  Turns out I had everything we needed for some yummy oatmeal cookies.  I just followed the recipe on the Quaker Oats container and they turned out great!

Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
(Recipe from Quaker)
2 sticks of butter softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
2 eggs
1tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups Quaker Oats
1 cup raisins

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together butter and sugars until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Add combined four, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded tablespoons full onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.

Enjoy!

Happy Friday!
