I have wanted to can homemade jam ever since I saw a tutorial a couple of years ago on the Pioneer Woman, but always ended putting it off and making freezer jam instead.
Well now that we have a freezer full of fish, I had a perfect excuse to jump into canning.
And oh boy was it fun.
5 total hours and 20 plus jars of strawberry and raspberry jam later.
I am officially obsessed.
It is taking every bit of self control not to run to the fruit stand to buy more flats of berries.
I may just allow myself one more canning session this season then put my supplies away until next year because if I continue Mike will call that bald guy with a mustache from Intervention and invite all of my family and friends over who will have letters that begin with, "Your canning has affected me in the following ways..."
