Keeping it Real (253) Style

Want to learn how to make your own City of Destiny skyline?

Sweet.

First off, I found the idea here, but didn't want Michael to forget his roots, so we tweaked it a bit to to be the most awesome skyline ever.

Michael, show the folks at home what they will need.

Never mind, I'll just do it myself.

You will need the following along with a sponge brush, black sharpie (didn't have this, so we had to use a pen and will go over with a Sharpie later), and scissors.

First you paint the entire canvas light blue (duh).

A closer look for those who are artistically challenged.

When you are finished let it dry (double duh).

Cut out rectangles in various sizes (and a large half circle if you are cool enough to make Tacoma's skyline).

Draw windows and doors.
While this is going on, sneak back without the artist noticing and do a second blue coat.

When the paint is dry, Mod Podge the heck out of it and you will have this.

If you look closely you will see we have both the Glass Museum and the Tacoma Dome.

Yes, we are THAT cool.

Love that u do fun things like this. So something I would do with Hayds, when she is a tad older. Thanks for passing the ideas along.
