Good, because I am currently typing this post wearing a pair of medical gloves and a mask.
Why you ask?
Two words.
The Plague.
Let me rewind a couple of weeks so we can review what the Welch's have been dealing with.
Michael- The common cold and a double ear infection.
Colin- RSV and an ear infection.
Mike- A cold and a sinus infection.
Me- Exhaustion and irritability (self diagnosed.)
Fast forward to this past Friday.
Michael woke up at 3:00am vomiting.
I didn't find out until 7:00am (Thanks Mike!)
He threw up everything he drank for 10 hours until he took a magic pill that stopped it all (Thanks Jessie!)
Here is is 10 minutes after said pill.
He was finally able to relax and catch up on some "news" with his new friend.
He was able to rehydrate and restore some electrolytes with Fruit Punch Gatorade.
It's only side effect was the dreaded juice mustache.
The same mustache I coined "Hawaiian Punch Mustache" when I was 10 and I swore my child would never have.
The flu lasted 24 hours. The mustache lasted 48.
Now it is Saturday.
We get Colin baptised and I head up to Seattle with Olen, Justine and my parents to Christmas shop.
We eat lunch at Nordstrom's and my mom starts to feel dizzy.
Let me cut to the chase, I know you are busy...
She fainted, or as my brother so eloquently put it, "She shopped until she dropped."
After she came to, she got sick.
We headed home and she headed to Urgent Care.
After we hit town, we decided to make the best of things and went to El Pueblito.
We had a blast, headed home and everything seemed fine.
Until midnight.
Mike got sick.
Then our friend got sick.
Then Michael woke up with a sore throat.
It was red with bumps.
The AWESOME doctor that was on call at our clinic, opened the office on a Sunday just to look at Michael's throat.
Turns out it is part of the stomach thing.
I felt bad, so we headed to Target so Michael could pick out a toy.
I know, what kind of mom am I to not have his coat zipped up when he is sick?!?!
Oh, and in case you were wondering...
Michael is better, my mom is better, Mike is better, our friend is better, Michael's mustache is gone, and my dad is....SICK!
If I were you, I would disinfect my keyboard and wash my eyes after reading this.
May the force be with you.

Wow that sucks! I do love the Michael pic leaving Target. Who doesn't love pj's and UGGS. Oh and I see he is adding to his animal collection. Maybe when the plague is gone we can meet up and let the boys play!
I wish I could say its been much different over here, but I think not. Sorry for you guys! I sure hope Santa didn't get that flu, I could really use some presents right now. :)
Oh Sarah - what a time you all are having! I just hope Santa drops a ton of good health down your chimney. After this fall, you guys deserve it!
