AKA- Christmas Eve and Christmas 2010
It's been a whole day since Christmas so let me set the mood a bit.
OK, are you feeling back in the spirit of things?
Great.
Lets get started.
Christmas Eve started off with a little Gingerbread Man decorating.
More sprinkles ended up on the floor than on the man.
*Deep breaths. Deep breaths*
We had a little get together at our place later that night.
Michael helped me prepare some apps.
A little Christmas miracle occurred in the form of trees made out of cheese.
It was breathtaking.
Michael and Colin were excited for the guests to arrive.
And when they did it was chaos.
Good chaos.
They wrestled and played Hide and Go Seek for a good 3 hours.
It was all fun and games until Michael decided to hide in the toilet.
True story.
It was all fun and games until Michael decided to hide in the toilet.
True story.
After our Christmas pre-funk Michael was so worn out he didn't even want to leave out milk and cookies for Santa. I think his exact words were, "No, I don't want Santa to come in our house. I only want him to leave presents."
Alrighty then.
Fast forward to Christmas.
Mike performs his annual tasks of lighting the fire and turning on the Christmas tree lights before we all wake up to set the mood for some good old fashioned present opening.
Santa stuffed Michael's stocking with animals (duh).
Colin was more into watching Michael than his stocking.

Michael really wanted a doll house to put his animals in, so Mike improvised and got an animal shed, an animal hospital (not shown because it had a million pieces to be put together) and a gate to put them in.

After our little family Christmas, we headed to my parent's house for brunch.
Let me set the mood again...
Justine informed me that he was ALL MAN.
Gross.
The boys were excited for more present opening.
Well, at least one boy was.

The hits of the day for Michael were some bugs from Olen and Justine and a few Nutcrackers from my mom. Don't ask.

Sounds for Silence for the mom to be.
Oh, you didn't know that Justine is busy cooking a bun in her oven???
Well she is. I believe said bun will be fully cooked come July.
It was a wonderful day filled with good food and great company.
We hope that you enjoyed your Christmas as much as we did!
Click, click, click...
Are you still awake???
