Today

Was a good day.

You may want to take a bathroom break, grab something to drink and DVR the next few shows on the old boob tube because I feel a major over share coming on.

Oh, and get used to it because I am officially on Winter Break so I have nothing but time people.

Lets get started, shall we?

Michael got to stay over at Mimi and Pa's last night so I moseyed on over there this morning to run some errands with my mom and the kids.  After the errands my mom was pretty much over me, so I took Michael to his haircut while she stayed behind with Colin.

After the much needed trim, we picked up Colin and headed to "Daddy's Grocery Store" a.k.a. QFC.

It was all fun and games until we got to the check out line and Michael started to put things on the counter that I didn't remember putting in the cart.

We are now the proud owners of 3 cans of Stagg Chili (Country Style.)

We headed home for "Quiet Time" and a nap, which gave me time to make a pot of spaghetti sauce.

Yum.

There was a break in the rain,

so we bundled up

and headed outside.

Michael dug

and dug

while I took pictures

and caught up with neighbors

and pushed this guy back and forth in his stroller.

When it got too dark and cold, we headed inside and made a train station.

And guess what?

I tried to let Colin cry it out tonight.

I thought I could do it because we had company over.

I tried to chit chat to keep my mind off the crying.

I lasted 25 minutes.

When I went to pick him up he projectile vomited everywhere.

Can I come over for some pasta or what? And while I'm at it, can I come to Salish Lodge next year?

"Hey, mom, Justine, I wanted to introduce you to a complete stranger...she'll be staying with us." ;)

I like how your new camera takes pictures! Are you liking it? I can't do the cry-it-out thing either. Kinsley has been waking every 2-3 hours for the last 4 months. I was thinking we should have done a repeat of our cookie baking day from last year....although our hands are a little more full on. Merry Christmas if we don't see you guys!
