The Birthday

Michael ended up having a great birthday despite the fact that I was a bad mom this year and didn't plan a party for him.

He woke up early and had a present waiting for him from his cousins Sophia and Logan.

It was a hit.

He is still playing with the cars as we speak.

After playing with the cars, Michael's friend Noah came over armed with Michael's favorite snacks; A Vanilla Americano and a slice of Lemon Loaf.

They played and played for a couple of hours then it was time to run some errands.

First stop- Nordstroms.

Michael watched the fish for a while.

So did Colin.

We then headed to Toys R Us.

Michael was still working on the Americao.

And a quick stop at McDonald's for icecream.

When we got home Michael recieved his present from us.

2 Geckos that he has named Jacket and Cainy.

Colin thought they were pretty cool.

Here is Cainy.  Jacket has yet to make an appearance.

Colin is already asking for his own pet.

After the Gecko action it was time to head to Michael's favorite joint.

The one and only Pizza Casa.

Mike deliberately ruining my shot.

We asked Michael what he wanted and he said he didn't know because he hasn't looked at the menu.

He ordered Buttered Noodles but ended up filling up on bread sticks and bread.

Colin's first time at Pizza Casa.

Michael brought his fav gift.

He opened some more...

Hmmm... This looks familiar.

I think this was his best birthday yet.
