Michael, Colin and I are officially displaced.
I left work early yesterday in hopes of beating the storm and making it home but after I slid down the hill by my parents house I decided to call it a day and squat.
Mimi saved the day by walking to Safeway to pick up rice cereal and diapers which was really all we needed to be comfortable.
Check out the great time we had during Arctic Blast 2010!
Make shift bed on the couch.
Heading outside to play.
Colin stayed warm inside.
Warming up in a bath.
Yummy dinner.
Play time.
Wine time.
Ending the perfect day with Bob The Builder Christmas Movie.
Not a bad place to be "stuck."
In case you are worried about Mike, he braved the conditions and made it home over the bridge. We made an executive decision to keep the kids off the streets.

It looks like you're having a fun snow day! It took Jordan over 4 hours to get home last night...so you made the right choice. My work is cancelled today...yay!
Oh my gosh...4 hours??? I hope he didn't have to go into work today! We are out of school today too which is nice because I don't have a change of clothes or any make-up with me! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving and we will see you on Saturday!!! By the way, will a 7 layer bean dip work?
I wish I got stuck at your mom's. Looks like fun! Next snow storm, I might just have to get "stuck" near her house :)
Seven layer bean dip sounds great! You guys have a great Thanksgiving too. If you're still in Tacoma tomorrow...we might venture out for some drinks at Paddy Coynes after work (around 6:30pm). We would love to see you guys. :)
