Today was the day Michael was able to shed his street clothes and finally be himself.
Today was P as in Pajamas Day.
As many of you know, Michael is an Extreme Pajama Wearer. He has been trying to raise awareness for Pajama Wearers everywhere for almost 4 years now. Today was an important day in his fight for acceptance and understanding.
Kids from all over Gig Harbor and surrounding areas gathered together at school today wearing nothing but their pajamas.
People often ask me if I always knew Michael would be an Extreme Pajama Wearer.
In a simple answer, yes. The signs have always been there, even from early infancy.
They say hind sight is twenty twenty. Looking back, many of Michael's early years were filled with days of pajama wearing.
So, here's to you Michael on your special day. We are so very proud of you and your cause. Hopefully this will make it easier for the next little boy who knows deep within their heart that they too are an Extreme Pajama Wearer.

I too am a closeted pajama wearer (is this a word?) and the shame and ridicule that I have faced for the past thirty (30+) years is somehow now bearable, knowing that I have someone with whom I share my affliction
