Perfect Fall Day

Mike and I took Michael to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. We usually go to Spooner Farms, but decided to switch it up a bit and try Maris Farms out for a change...we are crazy like that. I remember seeing my friend Jessie's blog post about Maris Farms last year and made a mental note that we need to see what its all about. We had a blast. They had a little bit of everything from tractor pulls to corn rooms. If I had to guess, I would say Michael's favorite was the bounce house and the pumpkin patch.

Trying this bull out for size.
Didn't realize how big this tractor was until I looked at this picture.
Concentrating. This is serious stuff.
A room filled with dried corn. Kind of strange, I know.
Taking advantage of the cheesy photo ops.
Sorry if this one scared you.
Michael loved riding in Daisy.
The tractor pulled them around the field and over little hills.
They were supposed to put their arms up when they went over a hill but nobody participated.
At first I was worried about Michael catching Swine flu at this thing.
Then after the bounce house I started to worry about Athlete's Foot. On the hands.
Fun mini tractors with pedals.

It wouldn't be a trip to the pumpkin patch without a ride in the wheelbarrow.
Michael and Mike found joy in finding the perfect pumpkin.
Michael was thrilled to run among the pumpkins.
Found 2 good ones. Mike wouldn't let me pick one because he thought we would have to carry them back to the car. Feel sorry for me. Feel very sorry for me. Just joking Mike, our porch looks better with 2:)
After the patch we rested then met my parents at Anthony's.
Of course Michael was thrilled to see Mimi and Pa. It had been a whole day since he had seen them last. Then he wrapped up the night with a heaping scoop of ice cream.
Perfect day in my book.

That coat Mike has on, makes him look like an 80 year old women

Hmm, that's funny Chad because the face you are wearing makes you look like a 12 year old girl. Once you outgrow the Oshkosh you might be able to jump into a Spyder coat.
