New Fence (Coming Soon)

Mike and I decided to bite the bullet and put in a new fence. We were going to try to wait, but Michael doesn't seem to understand the concept of "that is not your property." It doesn't help that one of our neighbors has train tracks going around their patio for their grand kids. Every time our door even opens, Michael makes a bee line to their house to touch the train!
I spent about a week getting quotes from different companies just to find that everyone charges relatively the same price ($18-$19.50 a linear foot). I was about to throw in the towel until our builder called and said he could build one for around $16.00 a linear foot! We thought this was a great deal so we decided to go for it. They started building the fence this week and they say they should be done by the weekend...we will see about that though:)

They started off by marking the spots to put the posts. We decided to start the fence at the middle section of our house and are bringing it back to a rock wall in our backyard. Our goal is basically to create a closed in play area for Michael.

They are putting in 3 gates, one on each side of our house and one that will lead up the hill in our back yard.

Woohoo, a whole line of posts all in a row! Now he needs to start the other side!

Cant wait until this fence is complete and we can start using our back yard! I will post pictures of the finished product.
