We have gone through many different sleeping arrangements with Michael over the last 2 1/2 years. He started out next to our bed in a Co-Sleeper, a few months later he ended up in our bed, about a year later he slept on a mattress next to our bed, a few weeks after that he was back in our bed and finally at the age of 23 months he started sleeping in his own bed in his own room. Mike and I were beyond excited when Michael started to fall asleep on his own in his own bed. It opened a whole new world for us.
That us until 2 weeks ago when Michael decided that he was scared in his bed. He started to cry and cry until one of us would lay next to him so he could fall asleep. For a few nights we let him cry for over 2 hours, just to end up laying next to him because we couldn't take it any longer.
After dealing with this new sleeping issue for a couple of weeks now, I decided to think outside of the box. I put Michael's sleeping bag on the floor next to his bed during his nap time today. He didn't end up sleeping, but he didn't cry either. I tried it again tonight and he finally fell asleep.

Oh no! Poor buddy. Maybe he will sleep better in his fabulous new room at the new house. Fingers crossed.
Good work Sarah! I hate sleep trouble and we've had ours too. Keep thinkin' outta that box!
