Just the Two of Us

Michael and I set off for quite an adventure this morning. We started things off with a trip to the Children's Museum and ended up at our favorite lunch spot..The Spar!
There was a Native American theme going on at the museum, at this station they could press buttons that made different animal sounds.
We really didn't know what to do here, I just told him to stick the animals in the holes..?
Stocking up on some fruit and vegetables.
Keeping him honest.
Michael loved weighing the food.
Michael made his very first accordion book. The story was all about Daddy:)
Looking like a deer in the headlights.
"I have to take my coat off for this one."
For some reason, this kid loves lemons! He even requested one on the way to the Spar.
Boy that fry is hot!
Michael was an absolute doll today. He held my hand when asked, followed directions the first time given, left the museum without a fight and had perfect manners at the Spar. I am so proud of my little 2 year old!

Brushing Like a "Big Guy"

Michael got to brush his teeth all by himself today! I'm not sure how well he did so I will have to brush his teeth like a "little guy" later:)

Bike Ride

It was turning out to be a pretty nice afternoon, so we asked Michael if he wanted to go for a "bike ride." He said he did, so we bundled him up and went on our way. We made it maybe halfway around the block before he decided that he wanted to push the tricycle rather than ride on it. It ended up taking us about a half an hour to even get around the entire block so to speed things up, we bribed Michael with a trip to the park. He then hopped on the tricycle and we headed to Whittier.

We had to end our little adventure early because Michael decided to jump in a huge puddle next to the big toy. We literally had to drag him kicking and screaming back to our house! He forgot all about by the time he saw his bubble bath though:)

Night Out

My parents were nice enough to invite us out to dinner to the Tacoma Golf and Country Club. We tried out the new grill room for the first time and it was great! Michael loves going to dinner there. He always gets Oodles of Noodles and enjoys their wonderful desserts! Thanks for the great dinner Mom and Dad!

Fun Times at Mimi and Pa's

A typical night for Michael at Mimi and Pa's... He is the center of attention and gets anything that he wants:)

Outdoor Fun

Michael enjoyed some time outdoors this afternoon with my parents. He loves running around and chasing balls in their driveway!

We're Baaack!

After a long hiatus, we are back on the blogging bandwagon! Now that I have my camera back, I have discovered how bad my pictures are do to a dirty lens. Excuse the quality of the next posts:)

Day in Seattle

We headed up to Seattle for a quick shopping trip today with my mom. All Michael could say on the way up was, "fishies!" So, needless to say, our first stop was the fish tank at Nordstroms. We did a little shopping, had a nice lunch, experienced a full blown toddler breakdown, and headed back to T-Town. All in all, the day was fun and relaxing, but I am glad that it is nap time!

The highlight of Michael's trip, "fishies."

"Mom, it is so embarrassing you are taking pictures of me in the restaurant."

Passing the time coloring.
Checking out the fish again.
Taking in the great views.

March Madness

Our Dinner Club's theme this month was March Madness. Everyone brought "game food" and partook in a night of fun and games. We started off with a nice game of Presidents and Assholes and moved on to our new favorite, Loaded Questions.

Excuse the quality of the pictures...I just discovered that I needed to clean my lens:)

Zeb was our permanent "Asshole."
Jon and Ashleigh's famous chicken wings.
Yummy Chili Cheese Dogs and homemade fries.
The best game in the world...Loaded Questions.

Night Owl

Michael's new favorite activity before bed is reading books in the dark with a flashlight. He is such a little night owl, just like his mom!
