Playgroup- Halloween Edition

We had our annual Halloween playgroup today. All of the kids were so cute in their costumes!

The two firefighters (Michael claimed it was too hot to wear is jacket).

Now that most of the kids are mobile, it was hard getting the group picture this year.

I stole this shot from Jessie's blog. She got a way better picture than I did. Hope you don't mind Jessie:)
From left to right- Will, Henry, Michael, Mason, Noah, Lucy, and Thomas.

I hope everyone has a great Halloween tomorrow! Check in later for more pictures.

practice makes perfect

While Michael and I were getting ready for bed tonight, I asked him to smile for me. He flashed is usual squinty face, so I decided it was time for Smiling 101. We practiced and practiced, and when I asked him if he wanted his picture taken with his new smile, he nodded. So here they are, two perfect pictures of him posing with a smile!

There is nothing like relaxing with a good book.

Kristin, Camden, Megan, and Easton

I had Nancy, Kristin and Megan over on Sunday for a playdate. It was great catching up because we haven't seen each other in a while. Camden is the newest addition to the group and Kristin will be welcoming a little girl in just 5 weeks. Boy this group is growing fast! I didn't think I had any pictures from this day, but was pleasantly surprised to see that Nancy snapped away while I was busy hosting. Thanks Nancy!

Northwest Trek

Justine decided to spend her birthday with her two favorite nephews at Northwest Trek. I had to work, so my mom was nice enough to bring Michael along. Michael and Noah apparently had a great time together as usual. They ended the day with lunch at Red Robin... I was so jealous!
The only picture we have of wild life.

Olen and Noah

I think you two are ready for one of your own:)

The three kids.

Happy Birthday Justine!

Happy Birthday Justine! You have been a great addition to our family. Thank you so much for being such a good friend and aunt... and most of all, for putting up with my brother:)

Just so you know...

As I was looking through some pictures on the blog, I noticed that Michael isn't really smiling in any of them. There is a reason for this. Lately when we have been telling him to smile, this is the face that we get.

We now just have to snap away and hope to catch a smile here and there:)

A Day with Mimi

My mom watches Michael for us when I have to go to work. I have to tell you that it is probably the highlight of Michael's week when he gets to go to my parent's house. Today he woke up and started yelling, "Mimi, Pa!" (A.K.A. Grandma and Grandpa). He gets ready extra fast to get over there so he can see my dad before he leaves for work. I left my camera with my mom today so I could see what all of the fuss was about.

We got there so early that Michael spotted the moon. By the way he picked out this outfit, not me.

So excited to see Mimi and Pa.
Eating lunch like a big boy up at the bar.

A shot of Michael in the new boots he got today (for his Halloween costume).

Having a snack and watching Jack Jack Attack on the computer.

Helping Mimi clean up after a long day.

Mimi's the only one with enough patience to let him walk up and down the stairs just for fun.
My moms a regular Annie Leibovitz. She really thought she got him in this shot:)

Thanks for all that you do for us mom! I love the fact I can go to work and know that Michael is in good hands. We really appreciate all of the time you spend with him. We honestly don't know what we would do without you!

George + Stroller = Fun

I knew this umbrella stroller would come in handy one day...

Back when I was still pregnant with Michael, I received this stroller for free from Babies "R" Us because of another purchase I made. It has been hanging in his closet ever since... Until today when Michael was pulling on it and screaming "out." I'm glad I saved it because it has provided some entertainment for Michael, and some free time for me:)
